Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to these terms. One account per person, and the details you give us (name, birthday, gender) must be true.

You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. Keep that email account secure: anyone who can read it can sign in as you. You’re responsible for what happens on your account.

Your Ten, liner notes, tagline, likes and messages are yours. You give us permission to store and show them as needed to run the service (for example, showing your Ten to other members). Song titles, artwork and previews come from Apple’s iTunes catalogue and belong to their owners; we don’t host audio, and previews are limited to 30 seconds.

Be decent. Specifically, don’t:

• Harass, threaten, demean or stalk anyone, or post hateful content.
• Impersonate someone or create fake accounts.
• Send spam, scams, or requests for money.
• Share sexual content involving anyone under 18, or anything illegal.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer or overload the service.

You can block or report anyone from their profile or your chat. Reporting also blocks. We review reports and may remove content or suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

We don’t run background checks and we can’t vouch for anyone. Take your time, meet somewhere public, tell a friend where you’re going, and never send money to someone you met here.

• The Album costs $9.99 a month or $59.99 a year (USD, plus tax where it applies).
• New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. If you don’t cancel before it ends, your subscription starts and you’re charged.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe.
• Cancel any time from your profile (Manage subscription). You keep The Album until the end of the period you’ve paid for. We don’t give partial refunds, except where the law requires.
• If prices change, we’ll tell you before your next renewal.

The free plan (The Single) never gates a conversation or any safety feature.

You can delete your account at any time from your profile; see our Privacy Policy for what that deletes. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put others at risk.

ThePlaylistDating, its name and its mark belong to us. The service is provided “as is”: we work hard to keep it running and safe, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error free, and we aren’t responsible for how other members behave. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we’ll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Questions: legal@theplaylistdating.com.
